Safeguard your precious business data with the latest IBM i security enhancements
Business data is one of the most precious assets in an enterprise. Data theft, manipulation, and abuse can cause severe damage to the reputation of a company and monetary loss. Securing your business data is important. Join this session to learn what the latest IBM i security enhancements are and how they can be used to implement better protection of your IBM i operating and application environment.
Simplify IBM i authentication with Single Sign-On
Regular password changes cause frequent calls to help desks for password resets. In addition, endusers have to memorize and enter signon information several times a day for different IBM i applications.
IBM i provides single sign-on (SSO) capabilities that allow you to easily plug in your IBM i environment into your Windows domain. When enabled, a user only has to log in to the Windows network once and can then access various applications on IBM i systems without the need to enter a user and password again.
This session introduces SSO in the IBM i environment and gives you hints and tips for deployment.
