News about BOB & Technical Refreshes

At one of the most recent COMMON Luxembourg events, Ludovic Gasc introduced IBM BOB and its potential for IBM i. Since then, things have moved quickly : the IBM BOB Premium Package for IBM i is now available, and it does far more than just write RPG code.

This edition therefore goes a step further, focusing on practical use cases that directly affect the day-to-day work of IBM i teams : querying a system, leveraging IBM i Services, and above all speeding up system administration and DB2 for IBM i : management, diagnostics, auditing, query optimization, schema (ERD) generation, and operations automation, all through a native connection to IBM i.

In addition, Ludovic will review the most useful new features : IBM i 7.6 TR2 and 7.5 TR8, IBM Concert for Power, Power Autonomous Operations, and Migrate While Active.

A practical session featuring live demonstrations, clearly explained limitations, and ideas that can be directly reused in your own IBM i environments.
